They’re done. Stables have been a concept in wrestling for a very long time now and there is nothing to suggest that they will be stopping anytime soon. At some point though, a stable is going to go away for one reason or another and that can make for a rather unique situation. It seems to be happening again at the moment, as a WWE stable appears to be completely gone.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Update on Carmelo Hayes and Austin Theory Following Injury On Smackdown
This week on SmackDown, Butch and Tyler Bate spoke in a coffee shop. The two discussed potentially teaming together long term, with Butch saying the Brawling Brutes were done. The Brutes, comprised of Butch, Sheamus and Ridge Holland, appear to have split up, with Holland in NXT and Sheamus out of action with a shoulder injury. The team had been together since September 2021.

Opinion: That’s kind of a shame as the team, while not exactly a top level concept, was something that made perfect sense and gave you exactly what was advertised. The team was comprised of three people who were going to beat you up in one way or another. I’m not sure how much further they could have gone, but they were finding a nice niche for themselves and that is never a bad thing.
