They’re Doing Well: Former WWE Tag Team Champions Reunite After Years Apart

They did well together. AEW has come a very long way in less than five years of existence and the things they have accomplished in that time are rather impressive. They have gone from not existing to being the second biggest wrestling company in the United States in that time and some of its stars are rather well known names in the industry. Now one of those names has reunited with a current WWE star in a nice moment.

AEW’s Claudio Castagnoli has posted a photo on Instagram showing him reuniting with his former tag team partner Sheamus. The two are shown having a drink together at some unknown place at a recent date. Sheamus and Castagnoli were together in WWE from 2016-2019 and won five WWE Tag Team Titles during the span. Castagnoli left WWE and joined AEW in 2022.

Opinion: The Bar is one of those teams who might not have felt like much when they were around but have quite the resume when you look back at it. Five Tag Team Title wins is no fluke and they even took down the New Day’s then record setting reign. It’s nice to see this kind of a reunion and the two of them seem rather happy with what they are doing in their respective companies.
