The new generation. There are all kinds of ways to get a new star some traction in the wrestling world and some of them are things that is not available for everyone. One of the best is for a wrestler to be related to another wrestler, as it serves as a foot in the door. That was the case with two second generation stars, who have since begun their wrestling careers.

According to Wrestlignnews.co, the children of Jimmy Wang Yang and Funaki have both begun wrestling. Yang’s daughter Jazzy began wrestling in 2021, teaming with her father against Caleb Konley and Zane Riley in her debut. Funaki’s son Jade has recently begun training with the Hybrid School Of Wrestling in San Antonio, where his father is a coach. There is no word on when he will make his in-ring debut.

Opinion: This is one of those things that could make for an interesting bit of trivia, but above all else, what matters is that there are some new names in the wrestling in industry. There have been some very talented second generation stars in wrestling before and maybe that can be the case again here. If nothing else, Yang and Funaki were quite talented hands in their day and maybe their children can be as well.
