One more for the card. Since WWE has decided to run as many shows as they can in a short amount of time, we are less than three days away from Super ShowDown and less than three weeks away from Stomping Grounds. With that being the case, it’s time to start setting up some more matches on the card and one of the title matches has already been set up.

This week on SmackDown Live, Alexa Bliss won a triple threat match to earn a SmacKDown Women’s Title match against Bayley at Stomping Grounds. Bayley had been Bliss’ guest on A Moment Of Bliss when Carmella and Charlotte interrupted. The triple threat was made and Bliss pinned Carmella after a distraction from Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. This will be Bayley’s second title defense.

She’s a fighting champion. Check out her title defense from last week’s SmackDown Live:

Opinion: This is at least something fresh in the title hunt as Bliss has been champion several times before but it’s been a long time since she had a title shot. If nothing else it’s not Bayley vs. Charlotte again, which has gone on long enough. Bayley has had issues with Bliss before so letting Bayley get the big win over her could show that this is a new version, which is the right call.
