According to Fightful, WWE has officially dropped its attempt to trademark the name “Big Time Becks” as a nickname for Becky Lynch. The company had been attempting to secure the trademark as recently as last month but officially filed paperwork to abandon the attempt on May 24. Lynch had used the “Big Time Becks” name during her time as a villain in WWE. A man named James K. Duck had filed the trademark, as well as the term “Bigtime” in wrestling.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise, as Lynch has not used the nickname in a good while now and there is little reason for WWE to pursue it any longer.
