Uncharted territory. Titles have been one of the most important parts of WWE history throughout the decades. A title reign helps define its specific era as it gives you a better idea of who the top stars in the company happen to be. That is the case with WWE today, and now a single title reign has reached a level that none like it ever has in the history of the promotion.

According to Fightful, as of Friday, the Usos have held the SmackDown Tag Team Titles for 600 days. This is the first time in the history of WWE that any Tag Team Title reign has reached this milestone. The previous record for any tag team title reign was Princess Victoria and Velvet McIntyre, who held the WWF Women’s Tag Team Titles for 572 days from 1983-1984. The Usos are also the Raw Tag Team Champions and have held the titles for 295 days.

Opinion: It really is amazing how the record books are being rewritten in the modern age, as Roman Reigns is the longest reigning World Champion in thirty five years and Gunther is the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion in over thirty. That is not something you really ever see and it is fascinating in a way. It makes you wonder which record will come down next, as well as when the Usos will ever lose the titles.
