They have takes. One of the biggest wrestling stories of the week saw WWE releasing over twenty wrestlers from both the main roster and NXT. That is the kind of shakeup you do not see very often and it can make for quite the change in the company. As you might expect, this has led to quite the reaction around the wrestling world and some of the people are not happy with what happened.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Not Yeah: Here’s Why LA Knight Was Not On SmackDown, Original Plans
Following the release of about twenty WWE wrestlers, several wrestlers and wrestling personalities are not happy with what happened and now they are speaking out. Multiple current and former wrestlers have praised the released wrestlers, while some of the wrestlers themselves had spoken out as well. Here are some of the responses, though it is far from an exhaustive list:
Well I did it – I graduated from WWE.
I know a lot of people think my career really took a downturn once Mr. Levesque took over, but, in actuality, my per match fee skyrocketed through the roof.
Other promoters, get ready to back the brinks truck up.

? TO THOSE WHO WERE JUST RELEASED ?
This can be the END of your career…
Or it can be the BEGINNING……
Look yourself in the mirror and decide.
I promise you the work and the MONEY is out there.
It’s not easy. It’s a grind. It’s a hustle. It’s frustrating…
But it also…

I was so immensely fortunate to start my time on the main roster next to @HEELZiggler. I learned so many lessons about this craft by watching and listening. One of the smoothest workers I’ve ever been in the ring with. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, Zig Man.

I’ve never met this guy, and often he was booked like a total loser, but Dolph Ziggler is one of the best wrestlers on the planet when they let him be. https://t.co/PyU2fGfp4W

While I wasn’t expecting a call yesterday, it’s also fair to say that I wasn’t shocked. When I returned to WWE I was so excited, I was ready to work my a** of and do all… pic.twitter.com/cZfBir1bnn

Some very talented people were let go. Check out some of their time in WWE:
Opinion: There isn’t much of a good way to spin something like this and a lot of people seem to accept that. While I get the idea of Endeavor wanting to save money and cut costs, there is something sad about letting so many wrestlers go at once. Those are people who are going to need to find a place to work and that is not the easiest thing to do in today’s wrestling world.
