Stick around for a bit. There are a lot of people in the WWE but a lot of them seem to want to get out of the promotion. That has been one of the biggest stories of the year as several wrestlers have made efforts, some of them successful, to get out of the WWE and take their shots elsewhere. That is not the case for everyone though, as some people are sticking around for a long time to come.

With so many people under the WWE umbrella, one of the best things that can be done is pairing them together in tag teams, or even occasionally trios. Some of these have more success than others, but when you find something that works, they can be rather entertaining and successful. Some wrestlers who have been grouped together like that are going to have a chance to stick around for a long time to come.

This week on WWE Backstage, Ryan Satin announced that Xavier Woods, Big E. and the Street Profits have all signed new long term deals with the company. Woods and Big E. signed identical deals as Kofi Kingston, who was recently announced as signing a new five year deal. The three of them negotiated as a block to show unity and that none of them were above the others. The lengths of the Street Profits’ deals were not announced.

All five have some strong positives of their own. Check out some of their best moments:

Opinion: That’s a good thing for WWE as all of these people need to be in WWE for a long time to come. They’re talented, funny and can wrestle exciting matches. New Day has been one of the most successful trios of all time, if not the most successful ever. I’m glad WWE is keeping a lot of the younger stars around as they’re the future of the company, as well as a lot of the present.
