They're In: New Grudge Title Match Added To WWE Money In The Bank

Put it on the card. We are on the way to Money In The Bank, which as usual will be focused on the show’s namesake matches. With those two matches taking up so many members of the roster, there are only so many other matches that can take place. Now we have another one of those spots filled, and it will include both a championship match as well as a grudge match at the same time.

Over the last few weeks, Matt Riddle has been dealing with Intercontinental Champion Gunther, as well as Gunther’s Imperium teammates. Last week the team took out Riddle’s ankle, causing Riddle to issue a challenge for a title match at Money In The Bank. This week, Gunther attacked Riddle and accepted the challenge. Money In The Bank will take place on July 1 at the 02 Arena in London, England.

Opinion: This is the kind of match that you need to see on a card like Money In The Bank as there are only a few ways around having so many wrestlers involved in two matches. Riddle vs. Gunther has the potential to be a heck of a showdown and the title changing hands isn’t completely out of the question. That is how to make a match all the more interesting and we should be fine for Saturday.
