For her. AEW being introduced into the wrestling landscape has changed quite a few situations as there is now another major wrestling promotion other than WWE. That is something that fans have been waiting on for a very long time and you can see what it means. There have been people who jump from one side to the other and now it seems someone else might be getting a job as a result.

AEW, by way of 411mania.com, has announced that they have signed former Creative member Jennifer Pepperman to be their new Vice President of Content Development. Pepperman is a former WWE writer as well as working for various soap operas. According to Dave Meltzer on Twitter, Sports Illustrated said that AEW signed Pepperman at least in part due to her association with Mercedes Mone. This comes as Mone is widely expected to start with AEW next month.

Pepperman has had some success with Mone. Check out Mone’s time in WWE:

Opinion: This makes a good bit of sense as Mone is going to be a big deal in AEW so having someone who has worked well with her before around is a logical idea. I’m curious to see what AEW has for her, as she could be quite the game changer and having Pepperman around can go a long way in getting things set for her. If AEW can make everything come together, they really could make it work out.

What do you think of the signing? How will Mone do in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
