They’re In: Details On How WWE Views Two SmackDown Superstars

They’re a little different. There are all kinds of stars on the WWE roster and some of them are going to be presented in different ways. Some of them are going to be seen on different levels and used for unique roles. You can see some of these stars on national television every week and now we know a bit more about how WWE sees one of its up and coming stars.

During a recent Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked how WWE views Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. Sapp said that WWE sees a high upside in both, with Waller being easy to work with and someone who listens well. Waller is also said to get a lot of buzz when necessary. As for Theory, Sapp speculated that WWE sees him as someone who can be used in a Baron Corbin style role, as Theory can be paired with a returning wrestler to get them ready for something bigger. Theory and Waller have been regularly teaming together in recent weeks.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is a good sign for WWE’s future. Not only have they brought them up to the main roster but the company also seems to know what to do with them. Theory and Waller have done more than a few good things while on the main roster so far and hopefully that continues in the near future. They’re off to a good start though and that is more than several others can do.
