Call it a reunion? There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history but only a few of them have been able to reach legendary status. Those are the names who fans remember for years to come, even after their in-ring careers are over. WWE has ways to keep wrestlers around when they are no longer wrestling with the company and now they are doing that again with two legends.

According to Sports Illustrated, the Dudley Boyz have signed Legends deals with WWE. These deals will allow them to continue working elsewhere but also see them make special appearances with WWE and have merchandise made for them. The team wrestled for WWE in multiple stints from 1999-2005 and 2015-2016 before returning to enter the Hall Of Fame in 2018. They are scheduled to return to the ring for the first time in seven years at Impact 1000 this weekend.

Opinion: It’s great to see the team getting this kind of recognition as they’ve long since established themselves as one of the most important teams ever in wrestling. While Bubba Ray is still going, D-Von hasn’t been an active competitor in years. That’s a great time to look back on their legacies and get them something that can give them a nice bonus check for a long time to come.
