They didn’t want him? There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and it can be tricky to guess which ones are going to get over with the audience. That is one of the best things that can happen to a wrestler’s career, as it means that there might be a future in it. However, there are times when the company itself is not interested in something happening, which we are now hearing about again.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Back In: 67 Year Old Former WWE Superstar Reportedly Returning To The Company In New Role
Former WWE Superstar Aron Stevens (known as Damien Sandow during his time in WWE) spoke with the Victoire about his run with the company. Stevens said that the boss (implied to be Vince McMahon but not said) ordered members of the staff to not list him as one of the wrestlers who received the biggest reactions at live events. Stevens said that he would receive one of the two or three best reactions on these shows. There is no word on why the ruling was made.
He has different. Check out Stevens’ time in WWE:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that can be working against you in WWE and, assuming this is true, there is not much that can be done. If the boss of the company did not want a wrestler to get pushed for whatever reason, it was more or less final. It’s a shame that the fans were ignored like that and while I’m sure WWE and McMahon had some reason for going this way, it would have been interesting to see how things could have played out otherwise.
What do you think of the situation? How far could Stevens have gone in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
