The card keeps growing. We are about twenty four hours away from Super ShowDown and that means there is still time to add on to the card. The show is going to be controversial enough as it is due to a variety of reasons, but the card is not done growing. With so little time left, there are still several wrestlers to be added to the show and now we know more of the final card.
There are a lot of people on the WWE main roster but unfortunately there are not a lot of places to put them. With so many wrestlers around the company, it can become a bit complicated to find a way to feature everyone. Pay per views are easier due to the lack of time constraints and WWE is taking advantage of that fact by adding three more matches to Super ShowDown.
This week on the Bump, WWE announced three extra matches for Super ShowDown, with two of them taking place on the Kickoff Show. Before the official show goes on the air, the Viking Raiders will face Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, plus a match between Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza. On the show itself, Saudi Arabia’s own Mansoor will face Dolph Ziggler.
These could be interesting. Check out some of the participants in action:
Opinion: The card is looking stacked all over again and while that might not please some fans, it is a nice idea to have the show feel like a pay per view. Mansoor being added doesn’t hurt anything or anyone and it is a good idea to make the show feel as important as possible. WWE is gaining a lot from these shows and adding in the extra matches makes it seem like they are putting in the effort.
