There is a goal in mind. Feuds in wrestling can go in a variety of directions. Sometimes they are done quickly but other times they are allowed to be extended over several months if not longer. That can open up some interesting possibilities, if nothing else to see how the feud gets extended that much further. WWE started a new feud this week and they already have an end goal in mind.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Trish Stratus substituted for Lita in a lost, costing Lita and Becky Lynch the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Following the loss, Stratus attacked Lynch, starting a feud between the two. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the plan is to have the two face off in a match at Summerslam. There is no word on how often Stratus, who does not wrestle a full time schedule, will appear on the way to Summerslam, which takes place on August 5.
It was a busy night. Check out the title match and both of them in singles action:
Opinion: This is a feud and match that have been rumored for awhile now and it is nice to see it actually taking place. Lynch vs. Stratus is something of a dream match as you have the two biggest women’s stars of their respective generations going at it. If nothing else, it gives Lynch someone new to face, which is needed after she has been a top star for so many years. This has potential to be huge and now we get to see what they can do with it.
