There’s Always Room For One More. A New High Level Tag Team Might Be Forming Soon.

Go for the silver! The Monday Night Raw Tag Team Title scene is in an interesting place at the moment, with Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins being the unlikely champions. It’s kind of hard to imagine them holding the titles that much longer given their level of competition, but they have made it work for six weeks now. However, there might be another big team waiting on them.

In a new tweet, Bobby Lashley has strongly suggested that he wants to team up with Baron Corbin to go after the Raw Tag Team Titles. There are no other specifics about the potential team, though the two of them have been teaming together regularly along with Drew McIntyre against various combinations on Monday Night Raw. Neither Corbin nor Lashley have ever been a Tag Team Champion in WWE.

Opinion: This is one of those things that I don’t get. If these two do become a regular tag team, the Raw tag division will have about half a dozen regular tag teams. Over on SmackDown Live, the titles had to be decided between a team going after the titles for the first time and another team coming over from Monday Night Raw. Yet now we’re adding to the Raw division again?
