The Rock Reportedly “Livid” Over His WWE Status Leaking

He wasn’t happy. There are all kinds of stars in the wrestling world and some of them are big enough that they are able to have a certain status that few can ever approach. You will see such stars show up for a special moment, though that does not always mean that things are going to go as expected. That is what we are seeing with an all time top name and he is not happy.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the Rock was “livid” over the fact that news leaked of him not wrestling at this year’s WrestleMania 41. While there is still the chance that Rock will appear at the show in some capacity, the Rock is not expected to wrestle on the show. In addition, there were reportedly some backstage in WWE who were unhappy with Rock returning at last year’s Bad Blood if he was not going to wrestle at WrestleMania.

Opinion: I’m not overly surprised by the Rock not being happy with the news coming out, as it leaves everyone with the question of “what now?” If the Rock isn’t going to wrestle at Wrestlemania, why should I care about what he is doing or saying at any paticular time. It makes sense that Rock would unhappy with such information being made public so far away in advance.
