The Old Switcheroos? WWE Reportedly Planning To Send Two Superstars To SmackDown

Special moves? With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, it can be difficult to keep all of them together. The company has divided its roster into three distinct groups and rarely makes a move from one roster to another. That is what can be happening in the next little while though and now we have a better idea what is going on with two rather prominent WWE Superstars.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Not So Final? Update On The Rock’s WrestleMania 41 Status

WWE is currently running a transfer period, allowing wrestlers to move from one of the three rosters to another. According to PWInsider.com and Ibou of Wrestle Purists, both by way of Cagesideseats.com, Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn are expected to move from SmackDown to Monday Night Raw. Zayn moving over would put him on the same brand as his longtime nemesis and associate Kevin Owens. There is no word on when the moves could be made.

Opinion: This is where things get interesting as WWE is opening the door for a variety of moves which could make for some great moments. WWE knows that things have to change every so often and this would be a smart move to make. At some point, things need to be shaken up to offer something a bit fresh and Zayn and McIntyre could both use that. I’m curious to see where this goes, and that is an encouraging sign for what we might be seeing.
