And out. Tag teams have a strange history in wrestling as there is always the chance that they are going to split up. You never know when you are going to see a team call it quits no matter just how good they were at their best. That is what we saw this week, as one of the most successful tag teams in the last several years has split up in quite the major blowup despite someone intervening.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Multiple AEW Stars Reportedly Interested In Moving To WWE When Their Contracts Expire
The Acclaimed officially split up this week on AEW Collision following several months of issues. The teams argued in the ring, with Max Caster insisting that Anthony Bowens did not understand that Caster was the best wrestler in the world. Their associate Billy Gunn came out and asked the two to fix their issues, only for Caster to tell Bowens to pick a side. Bowens sided with Gunn as Caster left. The Acclaimed are former AEW Tag Team Champions and former Trios Champions along with Gunn.

Opinion: This is something that you are going to see happen but that doesn’t make it any easier. The team is one of the most successful that AEW has ever seen, which is impressive as they were thrown together so quickly. For now at least we are going to see what they are going to do when they are on their own, though it would not stun me to see the two of them together again one day.
