That’s a reason. We are less than two weeks away from Summerslam and that means WWE is going to be going out of its way to make the card as big as possible. Earlier this week, it was reported that Bron Breakker is expected to challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Title at Summerslam. This would be a rematch from earlier this month when Zayn successfully defended the title against Breakker in a singles match. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the match is expected to stay a singles match and Breakker is expected to win the title. The idea is for Breakker to win the title on a bigger show than Money In The Bank.

Opinion: This is one of those head scratching moments as it makes me wonder why they ever bothered to put the title on the line at Money In The Bank in the first place. Why would you want Breakker to lose a month before he’s going to get the biggest win of his career? It’s an odd way to go, but at the end of the day, Breakker winning the title is what is going to matter most.
What do you think of the idea? Should Breakker win the title? Let us know in the comments below.
