That's Why: AEW Star Reveals He Is Recovering From A Back Injury

That’s not good. Injuries are some of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as you never know when they are going to be able to return to the ring. There are also times when a wrestler is out of action for a long time but by the time it is noticed, they are well on their way to recovery. That is the case again with an AEW star who has been out of actions for a few months now.

During a new post on Instagram, AEW’s The Blade has revealed that he has been out of the ring due to a lower back injury. Blade mentioned that his L2/L3 and L4/L5 discs are bulging, leaving him out of action. There is no word on when he will be able to return to the ring. The Blade has not wrestled in AEW since January 3 or anywhere since an independent show on February 4.

Opinion: This does explain the Blade’s absence and hopefully he is able to get back in the ring sooner than later. He is a talented star and has a good team with the Butcher, but there is only so much that he can do when he is out of action for the better part of four months and counting. If nothing else, it would be nice for AEW to have something new planned for him when he gets back.
