That’s a big flag. There are all kinds of people in the wrestling industry but there is only one Vince McMahon. While McMahon has been the most successful promoter in the history of wrestling, he also has quite the long list of issues and incidents to his name. These items continue to follow him around to this day and now one of the bigger issues has followed him to a new company.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Ouch: Monday Night Raw Match May Not Have Ended As Planned Due To Possible Injury

Earlier this year, WWE and UFC officially merged into TKO Holdings, with McMahon as a member of the company’s Board Of Directors. In an SEC filing released this week, TKO listed McMahon’s membership on the board as a “risk factor”, saying it

“could have adverse financial and operational impacts on our business… [and] could expose us to negative publicity and/or have other adverse financial and operational impacts on our business. His membership also may result in additional scrutiny or otherwise exacerbate the other risks described herein. Any of these outcomes could directly or indirectly have adverse financial and operational impacts on our business.”

TKO continues its investigation into McMahon’s scandal over sexual misconduct and hush money payments made to a group of women. While the filing made clear that McMahon’s inclusion has not cost them significant money yet, that may chance in the future. There is nothing to suggest that McMahon will be removed from his seat anytime soon.

This might be an issue. Check out some people or things being removed from WWE over the years:

Opinion: This is the reality that comes with McMahon, as no matter what else happens, there are some things that he is not going to be able to make go away. I’m not sure what this might mean for his future as part of the Board Of Directors, but they have more or less branded him as a problem at this point. That could become quite the issue in the future and I’m curious to see how this plays out.

What does this mean for McMahon? Will he be removed from TKO? Let us know in the comments below.
