It’s a different kind of reason. Every now and then, people are going to miss a wrestling show for one reason or another. Sometimes someone needs to miss a show because they aren’t in the best of health. It happens to almost every wrestler at one point or another and that was the case this week for one of the more prominent names of the Monday Night Raw women’s division.

According to PWInsider Elite by way of 411mania.com, Alexa Bliss missed both this week’s Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live due to a sinus infection. While Bliss did not perform on the show, Bliss did make an appearance for WWE and Connor’s Cure earlier in the day. At the moment, Bliss is still scheduled to challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Title on Sunday at Extreme Rules in a handicap match along with Nikki Cross.

Bliss can be intense when she’s healthy. Check out her setting up her match with Bayley last month:

Opinion: That’s quite the unique issue, but at the same time, Bliss is best known for talking rather than wrestling and given that she was going to be in a contract signing, having her sniffling and sick would not have worked. It seems to be the kind of thing that Bliss can overcome in a few days and hopefully everything will be fine before she gets to the title match on Sunday.

How has Bliss’ latest run gone? Will she win the title on Sunday? Let us know in the comments below.
