A hint? WWE is the largest wrestling promotion in the world and as a result, they present events all over the United States. That can make for some interesting announcements when it comes to a city getting to host a major event. WWE is often paid for the rights to hold such an event and now it seems that we could be seeing something similar taking place again with one of its biggest shows of the year.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: How Much? Former WWE Superstar Reveals Incredible Amount Of Money She Received From A Fan

According to the Columbus Dispatch, WWE is receiving $1.676 million from the state of Ohio in tax credits for events that will be filmed and produced in the state later this year. There is no word on what events earned WWE the credits, but they do have a Monday Night Raw and a SmackDown set for Ohio in April. This also comes amid rumors that Cleveland could host Summerslam, though this is not confirmed.

WWE has been to Ohio before. Check out what has happened there over the years:

Opinion: That kind of money almost has to be for Summerslam, as it’s hard to imagine that a pair of television tapings would bring in over $1.5 million dollars. At the end of the day, that is a lot of money and holding Summerslam at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland would be a good fit. I’m curious to see what this is, as it would seem to be quite a logical fit for such a major event.
