Money money. WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world and a lot of that is due to the amount of money that they bring in. The company brings in so much revenue that it is hard for anyone else to keep up and a lot of that is due to its television deals. That is the case again, and now we have an idea of how staggering the numbers are.

Earlier today, WWE announced a new broadcasting deal for Monday Night Raw, which will begin airing on Netflix in January 2025. According to Deadline, the deal is for ten years and worth more than $5 billion. According to Variety, the deal is worth “at least” $500 million a year, as compared to the current USA deal, which is worth somewhere between $250-260 million per year.

Yeah that’s big. Check out what is coming to Netflix next year:

Opinion: What is there to say here? This is one of those staggering numbers that you can’t really wrap your head around, as assuming the $500 million number is accurate, WWE is going to be getting almost $10 million a week for Monday Night Raw. That’s insane and gives the company so much money that it is almost impossible to fathom, let alone have another promotion approach.

What do you think of the change? How will Monday Night Raw do under the new deal? Let us know in the comments below.
