He’s kind of pleased. We are in the middle of one of the busiest periods in WWE history with one surprise or change taking place after another. That has made for some rather interesting moments, including several that have taken place in front of the camera. Those are the moments that often get the most attention, and now a WWE Superstar has something interesting to say about one of them.

CM Punk made a surprise return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023. Punk would go on to wrestle his first televised match at the 2024 Royal Rumble, where he suffered a torn tricep, which will put him on the shelf for about nine months. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins discussed Punk’s injury during an appearance on Wrestle Radio Australia, saying “I don’t want to say I told you so”. Rollins went on to say that the line of “fragile mind, fragile body, fragile ego” rings true about Punk. The two had been teasing a feud before Punk’s injury.

Opinion: This is the kind of statement that you do not hear very often, as Rollins is flirting between the line of a storyline and real life hatred. It makes for another big step towards Punk vs. Rollins whenever the match is actually able to take place. That should make for a heck of a showdown, though at some point, Punk is going to have to be able to get through a major match without getting hurt again.
