It wasn’t working. There have been countless people who have tried their hand at wrestling over the years and some of them have not worked out. While they might get somewhere over the course of their careers, something happens that makes them walk away instead. It can be interesting to see what happened and now another former WWE star is explaining why he left wrestling.

Former WWE star Johnny “The Bull” Stamboli was interviewed by WrestleBinge and said he left the wrestling industry in 2014 because he didn’t want to travel anymore for wrestling. Stamboli said that after working with AAA in Mexico and having a love/hate relationship with the company, he was ready to quit. Other factors led Stamboli to feel “burned out” and caused him to leave wrestling. Stamboli for WCW and WWE, leaving the latter in 2004.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you hear about quite often and while it sounds sad on paper, it is the kind of thing that might be best for everyone involved. There is nothing that says someone who has wrestling talented has to do it for a living and Stamboli seemed to understand that. It is better than he got out and was able to be happy rather than miserable in wrestling, because it isn’t worth that torment.
