That’s Big: WWE Has Very Lofty Goal For Elimination Chamber And It Hinges On John Cena

That would be big. WWE has been undergoing a variety of changes in recent months, with the company adjusting the way it presents several of its major shows. This includes going outside of the United States quite a bit more often and that opens up a variety of doors. We are going to be seeing that again in the coming months and WWE has some very high expectations for the show.

WWE has announced that Elimination Chamber 2025 will be held on March 1, 2025 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The show is being advertised as John Cena’s final ever show in Toronto. According to F4WOnline.com by way of Cagesideseats.com, WWE is expecting the show to break the all time Canadian gate record, mainly on the strength of Cena’s involvement.

Opinion: That is a lofty goal to reach but it would not surprise me to see WWE pull it off. At the end of the day, WWE does not run major stadiums this often and the show is only going to have to beat some WrestleManias. Throw in the higher ticket prices and how hot WWE has been in recent months and that record would certainly seem to be a possibility. If nothing else, Cena getting to claim another record like that would be another big step in his farewell tour.
