There’s your good deed. Wrestling is about a lot of things, but ultimately it is about making fans happy. The more fans get into the sport, the more entertained they often are, meaning the more they come back. It makes sense to try to get younger fans hooked on the sport as soon as possible, which is exactly what a WWE Superstar is doing for the biggest show of the year.

The KIPP AMP Middle School Wrestling Club in Brooklyn, New York is attempting to raise money to send the club to WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia. The Club was making money selling popcorn, with a goal of $2,500. However, Cody Rhodes sent out a tweet this week, revealing that he would be paying for the Club’s tickets and hotels, saying that they were all going to WrestleMania. The event takes place on April 6 and 7.

Opinion: That’s about as awesome of a thing as you can get. While I’m sure a good chunk of it was covered by WWE, the kids aren’t going to care about that in the slightest. There is very little in wrestling as amazing as seeing young fans excited to be at a show. That is going to be the case again here and my goodness it will be a special moment when the kids get to be at the show.
