The big problem. A story that has flown under the radar for a long time now has been Lars Sullivan’s posts on a bodybuilding forum about ten years ago. Sullivan has apologized for what he said and WWE seems to have accepted the apology, but at the same time, there are more important people to take care of. As it turns out, one of them isn’t happy about what Sullivan said.

A Reddit user has posted a response he claims to have received from Mars Wrigley, which makes Snickers, a longtime WWE sponsor. The user sent a message to the company discussing Sullivan’s previous homophobic, racist and other kinds of statements. The response says that the company will be in contact with WWE about the situation. It should be noted that complaints from Mars caused WWE to drop Fabulous Moolah from the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal name last year. Here is the response:

Dear Loyal Consumer,

Thank you for reaching out to Mars Wrigley Confectionery with your comments.

We learned of Lars Sullivan’s comments recently and share in yourshock and disgust. As a values-based company, we find his behavior abhorrent and unacceptable. We have engaged the WWE to discussthis situation and seek to understand what actions they will take toswiftly address this matter.

We hope this information is helpful and wish you a great day!

Opinion: I’m not sure how this is going to end but I don’t think it’s going to go well. The comments were several years ago but the Fabulous Moolah had been gone for ears and still had to be dropped. There is a good chance that Sullivan will be in serious trouble over this and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him gone from WWE for a long time, if not ever.

What do you think will happen to Sullivan? Will he be fired over this? Let us know in the comments below.
