That’s some high praise. While there have been almost countless wrestlers throughout WWE’s history, a small handful are revered as the top names over the years. Those are the wrestlers whose names are often discussed the most, including when it comes to fans wanting to see special matches. It is certainly that time of year again and one of the biggest names in wrestling history had something interesting to say.

WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels was a interviewed by the Gorilla Position and was asked who he would face if he could have one more WrestleMania match. Michaels chose AJ Styles, saying that the two have similar styles and could work well together. Michaels, 58, also clarified that he does not think the match would happen as too much time has passed. Styles faced the Undertaker in Undertaker’s final match at WrestleMania 36.

Opinion: We’re just done with WrestleMania season and it makes all the sends in the world for there to be an interest in what Mr. WrestleMania would do in another match at the show if he could. The idea of a Michaels vs. Styles match is certainly interesting, even if it is not something that is going to be happening. WWE has had some very fun fantasy booking options over the years and this is certainly something that fits the description.
