On The Other Team? AEW Star Reportedly Seen Backstage At WrestleMania 39

Crossing enemy lines? The rise of AEW has changed the wrestling world as the company now allows several more wrestlers to have a new place to go. Some of these people are names who never got the chance to go to WWE, while some of them are people who did not exactly fit in while they were around. Now one current AEW star has been seen backstage on the biggest WWE star.

According to Konnan on Keepin’ It 100, AEW star Andrade El Idolo was backstage at WrestleMania 39. El Idolo was reportedly backstage with his wife Charlotte and father-in-law Ric Flair. Konnan was brought in for WrestleMania Weekend to induct Rey Mysterio to the WWE Hall Of Fame. El Idolo has not wrestled since September 4, 2022 after being suspended due to a backstage incident with Sammy Guevara.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise but the question now is where El Idolo will appear next. He has been suspended from AEW for the better part of eight months and there is nothing to suggest that he is going to be back anytime soon. Being backstage to support his wife is no surprise, but it would not surprise me to see him on WWE TV before he is on AEW TV again.
