Another one bites the dust. “Talking Smack” has been one of the most entertaining shows on the WWE Network, earning itself a reputation as one of the must see shows of the week. The recap show contained often hilarious interviews and segments highlighting what was going on during the week. And of course it’s been canceled.

The Miz completely loses it in the face of GM Daniel Bryan: WWE Talking Smack, Aug. 23. 2016

According to Wrestlinginc.com, the show has been canceled as a weekly show but will continue as a post-pay per view special. There is no reason given for the cancellation, but WWE sent out the following statement as an explanation for the show being taken off the weekly schedule:

We continuously review WWE Network’s programming line-up based on a variety of factors, including viewership and subscriber research. Talking Smack and Raw Talk will air following pay-per-view events, and Tuesday will continue to feature 205 LIVE.

Opinion: My guess is that either A, the wrestlers were annoyed at having to stay later to film the show or B, the company didn’t like all the shots being taken at WWE. The other problem was the lack of Renee Young and Daniel Bryan as regular hosts. Those two made the show with some awesome chemistry that no other combination had.
