That’s the big one. There are all kinds of ways to present a match in wrestling and a lot of it has to do with the way the match is set up. Sometimes the best way to run a match is to have a rematch of something that was done before, as it gives the match a built in backstory. That will be the case this weekend, as we are getting a rematch from something that was strange in the first place.

This week on AEW Dynamite, World Champion Jon Moxley signed an open contract for a title match at All Out. Later in the show, following a pep talk from his trainer Ace Steel. CM Punk signed the contract, making the title match official. This will be a rematch from last week’s Dynamite, when Moxley defeated Punk in three minutes to unify to the Interim and official AEW World Titles.

Opinion: This is the kind of match that is going to get people talking, as it is certainly not something that you see happen very often in AEW. Punk was beaten soundly last week and now he is ready for one of the biggest matches AEW has ever had. I’m not sure I get why they are going this way but it is certainly the kind of match that should get people talking, though your mileage may vary.
