I’m not sure if that’s available. Back in 2014, CM Punk walked out on WWE in a major surprise. It turned out that he had been burnt out on the company for a very long time and the move was almost necessary. Since then Punk has worked on comic books and had some pretty bad fights in the UFC. Fans have talked about him getting back into the ring and now we know what it would take.

Punk was a guest on the WGN Morning News this week and was asked exactly that question. His response was “a time machine”, which may be a reference to either his age or everything that has happened since then. Punk turned forty years old last month and hasn’t wrestled anywhere since the 2014 Royal Rumble. He has said multiple times that he has no interest in returning to wrestling.

Here’s a trip in a time machine to a return.

Raw: CM Punk makes his shocking return to WWE

Opinion: I know you can never say never with regards to wrestling returns, but in this case I think you can fairly say that Punk is almost guaranteed to never get back in a wrestling ring. It’s pretty clear that he’s happy doing other things and would rather be a commentator for UFC or some other mixed martial arts organization and there’s nothing wrong with that. If it’s what he wants to do, there’s no one he has to please but himself. Good for him if he’s happy.

Do you think Punk would ever come back to WWE? Do you want him to? Let us know in the comments below.
