They need to work on that. AEW has only been around for a few years now but like any promotion, there are problems that they have to work on every day. Some of these things are more serious than others, as the roster can be displeased with the way things are going from time to time. That appears to be the case again, though it is quite the large scale problem this time around.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while morale is currently better backstage in AEW, there are some frustrations among the roster. Several of the wrestlers want to wrestle more and do not want to just collect a check but they are only able to get so much ring time due to the amount of wrestlers. Another issue is the recent issue of crowd sizes, as the company’s attendances have been low but AEW President Tony Khan continues to say that everything is fine. Some wrestlers are said to believe that changes need to be made though it is not clear if they are coming.

Opinion: This is an issue that makes sense as the crowd size issues have been a problem for AEW for a good while now. At some point changes do need to be made, but if Khan is not willing to make such changes, nothing is going to matter. Hopefully some of those changes are made, as the company could use some adjustments, as is the case with any promotion anywhere.
