Switch It Up? WWE Considering Change To WrestleMania Match

It’s not too late. We are less than a week away from WrestleMania 40 and the card for the show is mostly set. This week saw even more matches either added or updated with more people, which makes the show feel that much bigger. However, just because someone was added does not mean they’re staying, as WWE might be making a change to the card with only a few days left.

Last week on SmackDown, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller defeated the Street Profits to qualify for the six way Tag Team Title ladder match at WrestleMania 40. However, according to Wrestling Observer Radio, there is a chance that WWE could make a change and put another team into the match in their place. There is no word on who might take their place or why WWE could make the change.

Opinion: That is an interesting potential change, though it also begs the question of why WWE went with Theory and Waller in the first place if they might be dropped from the match almost immediately. There are other options to take their spots, but it’s more than a little weird to make this kind of change at the last minute. It should be interesting to see what WWE does, but they seem to be considering something.
