Card subject to change. We are less than a week away from Survivor Series and that means the card is mostly set. That being said, this is WWE and there is always the chance that WWE could make some kind of a change and in this case they have done just that. Actually this time around they have made more than just one change, as two people are being swapped out of a match.

For over thirty years, Survivor Series has been built around the idea of elimination tag matches. The concept is pretty simple and was summed up with the tagline of the original show: “Teams of five strive to survive.” It makes a lot of sense and you get the idea in a hurry. Survival is the name of the game, but what happens if you don’t even survive the shows leading up to the pay per view?

This week on Monday Night Raw, both Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke were attacked, ultimately leading to the two of them being removed from the Raw Women’s Survivor Series team. Shayna Baszler stomped on Rose’s arm during a six woman tag, following up on an injury Rose suffered the previous week. Later in the night, Reckoning attacked Brooke, injuring her in the process. Adam Pearce named Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce as replacements.

They are some good newcomers. Check out the replacements in action:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised by Rose after her injury last week, though Brooke is a bit more of a twist. That being said, Evans and Royce are not quite downgrades on the team, which has been focused on Lana, Baszler and Nia Jax since the team was formed. Survivor Series her turned into a rather different show in recent years and these substitutions have become a part of that difference.

What do you think of the changes? Is the team stronger now? Let us know in the comments below.
