The next generation. While a lot of fans might forget it at times, NXT is still a developmental territory. The show has some incredible talent and one of the deepest rosters in recent history. However, the whole point of the promotion is to build up wrestlers for a move to the main roster. That is the kind of thing that can be fascinating to see and we might be seeing another in front of our eyes.

The spread of the Coronavirus has caused a variety of issues for WWE, including several wrestlers missing television shows. This has caused the company to need some other stars to come up and do what they can in the time being. Some wrestlers have shown up on television a lot more than others and one of the new names may be in line for a big time push.

According to PW Insider Elite by way of Wrestlinginc.com, Brendan Vink is in for a major push on Monday Night Raw. Vink has appeared on the show over the last few weeks, mainly in a tag team with Shane Thorne under MVP’s guidance. This included a tag team victory over Ricochet and Cedric Alexander when Vink pinned Ricochet. Vink is seen as a long term project for WWE.

Vink has been a success in the short term. Check out how he has done so far:

Opinion: I’m not sure what to think of this as Vink isn’t someone who has been around all that long. He has potential but I’m not sure how far he is going to go as a generic villain named Brendan Vink. Maybe they can change things up a little bit in the future, but for now, it’s a little too early to know what WWE has with him. In other words, give it some time before making such a big decision.

What do you think of Vink? How far can he go in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
