It’s good to have a reputation. There are some wrestlers who are not the most well received by the fans. For one reason or another, people just do not like a wrestler every now and then, though that might be by design. Some wrestlers are naturally great at being villains, but that might not be the case backstage. One such name might come as a surprise to you, as he is a rather popular name behind the curtain.
According to Andrew Zarian of the We’re Live Pal podcast, a former WWE writer has said that Baron Corbin is one of the most beloved people backstage in WWE. Corbin is said to be easy to work with and never combative about anything. He was compared to the Miz, who has been part of WWE for many years and is willing to do anything that WWE asks of him, no matter what.
Corbin signed with WWE in August 2012 and wrestled in NXT until April 2016 when he was called up to Monday Night Raw. Since then, Corbin has wrestled on both main roster shows, where he has won the United States Title, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, the King of the Ring tournament and the Money in the Bank ladder match. Corbin has also served as an authority figure on Monday Night Raw.
He has been around for a bit. Check out what he has done in WWE:
Opinion: I know Corbin might not be the most popular star among fans and there are certainly some issues with how he is presented on screen, but apparently he is quite the person to have around backstage. That is great to hear and not something that a lot of people (myself included) probably would have guessed. Corbin is probably going to be around for a long time, and that is not the worst thing to hear.
