Hand it over. There are all kinds of titles in the wrestling world and it can be a big deal when one of them changes hands. You never know when you are going to see a championship change hands and it can be a turning point for everyone involved. While one reign is coming to an end, another is just starting, which can often be the breakthrough moment of a wrestler’s career. That might have been the case again this week.

The main event of this week’s NXT saw the No Quarter Catch Crew’s Charlie Dempsey defeat Noam Dar to win the Heritage Cup two falls to one. This ends Dar’s reign at 190 days and marks Dempsey’s first title of any kind in WWE. Dar did not know which member of the team he would be facing coming into the match, as the Crew was wrestling under their “Catch Claus”.
This could be big. Check out the title match plus the two in action:
Opinion: It kind of makes perfect sense for the title to change hands here as the Crew is sort of perfect for the Cup. The team is built around more traditional rules and the round system is about as classic as you can get. At the same time, Dar had held the title for such a long time that someone else needed to get the Cup off of him already. Dar can move on to something else, and that is not a bad thing.
