That would explain it. This week’s Monday Night Raw featured a Raw Legends theme, with various famous wrestlers returning to the show, often for the first time in years. The night featured several appearances from legends, some of which were in slightly bigger roles than others. At the same time though, there were a few names missing and now we have another explained.

Women’s wrestling has come a long way in recent years and that is certainly a good thing. There was a long stretch where women in WWE were nothing more than eye candy and WWE did nothing to make fans believe otherwise. Things have changed quite a bit in a great way in recent years, but this is not the first time that women’s wrestling was taken seriously. There were some women who became stars in their own right, and one of them has now explained why did not not appear on Raw Legends.

Candice Michelle was interviewed by Wrestlinginc.com and revealed that she did not appear as advertised for Raw Legends because she was never invited to the show. Michelle was mentioned in advertisements for the reunion but WWE never contacted her to appear. There is no reason to believe WWE is angry at her, as she appeared at Raw Reunion in July 2019.

Michelle was a star in WWE. Check out her time with the company:

Opinion: This show has not exactly made WWE look good when it comes to delivering what they advertised. I know Michelle isn’t the biggest name in the history of the company but WWE but she is someone WWE was willing to advertise her for the show. If nothing else, it doesn’t make WWE look like the most reliable company as not only was she not there, but she was never even considered. Then why put her name on anything? This shouldn’t be that complicated but WWE seems to have messed it up rather badly.
