Stipulation Added To NXT Title Match

Make it more interesting. There are a lot of ways to end a feud and some of them are a lot more interesting than others. One of the best things that can be done is to make it clear that this is it no matter what happens. It heightens the intensity of a match and makes you know that you are in for a heck of a fight. We are in for one of those on Sunday, with the gold on the line.

On Monday, Adam Cole hit a milestone in his already record shattering reign as NXT Champion. Cole has now held the title for over one year, during which he has retained the title against a lot of people. As a result, there are not many people left to face him, but one will be getting the shot at the next Takeover. Now, we know what kind of match we are going to be seeing.

This week on NXT, it was announced that the NXT Title match between Cole and Velveteen Dream will be a Backlot Brawl. The idea of the match is that the two will be competing outside of Full Sail University, albeit with a ring set up. This comes after William Regal mentioned that he would be trying to find an appropriate venue for the title match to take place.

This is going to be a heck of a fight. Check out how we got to the title match:

Opinion: I’m not sure how well this is going to work, but you can imagine all of the cinematic elements that are going to be included. That is becoming a rather common trend and this seems like something that is going to be right there with the rest of them. I don’t know how this is going to work out, but hopefully it is on the higher end of the matches, as you never know how these can play out.
