That’s a long time. Injuries are some of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler as you never ant to see someone get put on the shelf for any amount of time. AEW’s Eddie Kingston has been out of action since May with a series of knee injuries, including a torn ACL. According to PWInsider.com, Kingston has been “furiously” going through physical therapy in an attempt to return to the ring sooner than later. However, his doctors have told him that he is not expected to return to the ring until June of next year. PWInsider reached out to Kingston about his condition and he said “health insurance is a scam.”
Kingston is a big deal in AEW. Check out his time in the company:
Opinion: That isn’t good to hear as any injury is bad, but someone missing over a year of ring time is even worse. Kingston is someone the fans respond to every time and it is terrible that he is missing this much time. Hopefully he can get back earlier than that, but you also don’t want him to try to come back too soon and hurt his leg all over again to restart the whole process.
