Still Around: Vince McMahon Made Rare Appearance At WWE Headquarters For Special Occasion

You can’t get rid of him. Over the last few years, Vince McMahon’s role in WWE has changed quite a bit. Following a brief retirement from the company, McMahon eventually led the company in being sold to Endeavor. This has seen him moved away from WWE creative into a role that is not entirely clear. However, that does not mean McMahon is gone for good, which was evident this week.

According to PWInsider.com, McMahon made a surprise appearance at WWE’s annual holiday party at WWE Headquarters this week. McMahon does not usually appear at the event, which is for employees only. He was described as being “approachable” and “friendly” and was talking with various people. There were no wrestlers at the party, which goes against the norm for the party.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that feels kind of right as McMahon being around WWE, even if he is not in control of the company, is something that is just going to happen. At the end of the day, he was at a holiday party and got to have a bit of fun for once. It’s nice to see him getting to do something like this and hopefully he had a good time in the process, which is part of the point.
