He’ll stick around. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster but occasionally some of them will have to be going away for a little while. This can be the case for a variety of reasons, including injuries. Any of those could result in someone being gone for a very long time, which might not go well for WWE. Now it seems that one such WWE star might be around even longer as a result.

Sheamus has not wrestled since the August 18 SmackDown when he was defeated by Edge. He has since been out of action with a shoulder injury, though he is advertised to return to the ring later this month. According to Fightful Select, it is “very very likely” that WWE will add the injury time to the end of Sheamus contract. It is not clear when Sheamus’ contract is set to expire.

Sheamus is rather awesome when he is around. Check out what he can do:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that might not sound like the best move but it is something that WWE should probably do. Sheamus has been around for over three months now and while it is good to have him healing up, it isn’t exactly fair for WWE to have to wait for him to come back. Also, it’s not like three months is all that long after the years Sheamus has been in the company, so thankfully we do get him a bit longer.
