They’ll be around. In recent weeks, WWE has been making more of an effort to sign its established stars to new deals. The company’s new ownership reportedly does not want to let anyone go and are offering fresh contracts in order to keep them around. This has worked for a variety of wrestlers but now some more of them are not going to be going away because their current deals are being extended.

According to Fightful by way of Cagesideseats.com, WWE is extending the contracts of multiple wrestlers due to them missing time with injuries. Names including Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Randy Orton and Big E. are all believed to be signed through at least 2024 due to missing extended time due to injuries. There is no word on when or if Big E. will be able to return to the ring.

Those are some talented wrestlers. Check out some of them in action:

Opinion: This is something that is going to happen and it makes sense. These wrestlers have been out of action for several months, if not even longer in some cases. Keeping them around a bit longer makes sense and hopefully WWE is able to come up with something good for the wrestlers to do. For now, it seems they will be able to do something with them for a long time to come.
