Earlier this week, a report surfaced saying that there was a belief that Randy Orton had signed a new five year deal with WWE, which would keep him in the company until 2029. In a new interview with Marca.com, Orton confirmed that he did sign a new deal with WWE, saying he feels great and healthy. Orton is scheduled to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship later this month at Bash In Berlin.
Orton is a legend for a reason. Check out what he has been up to lately:
Opinion: That is rather impressive as Orton is going to be 49 years old when the contract ends. That being said, he is still doing some top quality work at 44 and if he can keep it going at that high of a level, good for him. I could go for having him around that much longer and it seems he is happy with what he is doing. If his back can hold up that long, WWE is smart to keep him around.
What do you think of Orton’s recent work? Who is next for him after Gunther? Let us know in the comments below.
