Staying Around: Longtime WWE Superstar Signs New Deal With The Company

Stick around. There have been all kinds of changes to the WWE roster in recent months, as several contracts have come up for renewal. It can be a big deal when someone makes the decision regarding their future, as someone staying or going can impact quite a few things. That is the case again this week, as a longtime WWE Superstar has made a decision regarding her future.

According to PW Insider Elite, Natalya has signed a new deal with WWE, ending speculation about her future as her contract was set to expire at some point this summer. According to Fightful Select, there was no gap between the two deals and WWE felt that Natalya could have actually left. One of the main points Natalya wanted covered was the outside projects she is working on. Natalya’s most recent match took place on June 4.

Opinion: This makes sense for both sides, as Natalya has been around WWE for such a long time and would seem to be someone who will be able to work behind the scenes if she chooses. At the same time, WWE would want to keep on of their most consistent stars around as well, if nothing else for the sake of keeping a great hand on the roster. It’s nice that both sides seem to have gotten what they wanted, which is not always the case.
