It wasn’t to her liking. We are now less than three months away from WrestleMania 36, but we are also about ten months removed from WrestleMania 35. That was quite the show in its own right with a rather important main event. The biggest match of the year saw a historic moment as three women headlined the show for the first time ever. It was a major change, but what about the future?

One of the biggest reasons the women’s triple threat match took place was because of Ronda Rousey. She had debuted just over a year before and then went on to have one of the best debut matches of all time at WrestleMania 34. Going from that to headlining the show the next year was a huge jump and now we know a little something about what is coming for Rousey in the future. Or maybe not.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rousey will not be wrestling at this year’s WrestleMania 36. Had WWE been able to secure her for the show would have seen Rousey facing Charlotte one on one. This was also the original plan for last year’s show before Becky Lynch caught fire and because the focal point of the match. It is not known when or if Rousey will wrestle again.

Rousey made a huge impact while she was around. Check out some of her bigger moments:

Opinion: I’m certainly going to miss Rousey at WrestleMania as she certainly has the star power to be a huge part of the show. Part of the problem stems from Lynch, who has cleaned out the Monday Night Raw women’s division, leaving almost no one for her to fight. Rousey is one of the only ones who could give her a serious challenge but now I’m not sure what is left for her to do.
